Nippon Steel raises domestic prices of stainless steel for Mar

Nippon Steel Stainless Steel Corp (NSSC) announced to raise its domestic price of stainless steel cold-rolled coils and plates due to higher costs of production.

According to the price adjustment, the price of cold-rolled 300 series stainless steel and plates was up by 15,000 yen/ton, and that for 430 was raised by 10,000 yen/ton.

The price of 300 series stainless steel has been hiking for three consecutive months. Since last June, the cumulative increase of 300 series has reached 65,000 yen.
