Novelis has no new deals with Rusal due to Russia-Ukraine war

Novelis, a leading producer of flat-rolled aluminum products in the US, has avoided new deals with Russian aluminum giant Rusal in the wake of the Ukraine war.
While Russian metals have not been sanctioned, many consumers will not buy aluminum produced by Rusal. Novelis currently buys most of its primary aluminum metal from Canada and a negligible amount from Rusal.
Novelis said no new contracts had been signed since the Russia-Ukraine war, but that could change in the future, depending on the conflict.
