Novelis not to purchase metals from Russia next year

Novelis Inc., a Georgia-based industrial aluminum company, released a clear statement in a tender for 2023 supply to its European plants that it would stop buying metals originating in Russia next year.

As a global leading manufacturer of aluminum rolled products and the world's largest aluminum recycling company, Novelis’ decision might play a key role in the aluminum industry and set the tone for contract negotiations in the future.
