Novelis sells Aleris’ Duffel plant to ALVANCE

It was reported that Novelis has sold Aleris's plant in Duffel, Belgium to ALVANCE, part of the GFG Alliance.
The European Commission and China’s State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) previously proposed that Novelis' acquisition of Aleris, which has been completed earlier this year, could be conducted based on the condition that Novelis sells the Duffel plant to a third party that meets certain buyer suitability requirements.
The above two regulators have approved ALVANCE as a suitable buyer for this acquisition.
