Novelis Inc., a Georgia-based industrial aluminum company, has invested US$35 million to set up a Customer Solution Center (CSC) in Novi, Michigan. Novelis has other CSCs in Stuttgart, Germany, and Shanghai, China. These facilities were aimed to accelerate the development of aluminum solutions through cooperation between the company, its customers, and other companies throughout the supply chain.

With the centers, Novelis had a collaboration with automakers and Tier 1 suppliers to maximize the production of lightweight, high-strength aluminum in the next generation of vehicle design.

Novelis will be able to develop new aluminum solutions and display its benefits for present and future vehicle applications with the new CSC equipment.
