Peru’s iron ore production drops in Dec 2021

According to the data from the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Peru (MINEM), Peru’s iron ore production amounted to around 754,600 tons in December 2021, sliding by 23% compared to the previous month and also falling by 24.4% from the same month a year ago.

In 2021, Peru’s iron ore production had a year-on-year hike of 36.6%, reaching around 12 million tons.
