According to an announcement from Hydro, due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and sanctions imposed by the EU and the international community, Hydro has decided not to sign new contracts related to Russian producers, and it will give notices if there are any changes.

Meanwhile, Hydro is also evaluating existing commitments, including a potential freeze on commercial relations with Russian counterparts.

Hydro doesn’t have critical supplies from Russia or Ukraine, but it has commercial relationships with some trading companies and Russian aluminum producers. Hydro’s counterparts are not subject to international sanctions currently.
