South Korean POSCO announced again to delay the resumption of its third blast furnace, which was caused by the global low demand for steel products. Previously, the company planned to hold the operation of its Gwangyang third blast furnace until late May.

During this period of time, the repair and maintenance work would be done; however, the resumption date was delayed to June. So far, there was no fixed time for the operation resumption of this Gwangyang third blast furnace.
