According to the report, the South Korean steelmaker POSCO had signed a memorandum of understanding with Array Technologies of the US for material supply and technical cooperation.
POSCO will supply Array with about 200,000 tons of PosMac until 2023, enough to install solar power facilities in an area the size of 12,000 football fields. PosMac is a teralloy coated steel that protects against corrosion of hot or cold rolled steel plates and it is 5 to 10 times more resistant than ordinary hot dip galvanized steel.
