RINL’s iron ore production grows in Apr-Dec of FY21-22

Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), a state-owned steel producer in India, reported that its pig iron production totaled around 4.4 million tons in the period from April to December of the fiscal year 2021-22, hiking by 47% compared to the same period a year ago.

In the first nine months of the current fiscal year, the production of saleable steel products amounted to 3.9 million, a year-on-year increase of 44%. The sales reached approximately 3.7 million tons during the same period, up by 22% year on year.
