Rio Tinto to invest $51 million to upgrade Canada's Vaudreuil alumina refinery

It was reported that Rio Tinto will invest US$51 million to upgrade its Vaudreuil alumina refinery in Quebec, Canada.

There are three new energy-saving buildings under construction, and the existing facilities will be rearranged. The project was expected to be completed in early 2021.

Through optimizing the operation at the Vaudreuil alumina refinery, employees will enjoy a safer and more modern working environment.
