Romania aluminum company Alro starts press extrusion line for aluminum profiles

Alro S.A., one of the biggest aluminum companies in Romania, announced on June 27 that its downstream subsidiary Vimetco Extrusion has completed the installation of a new 7'' press extrusion line for aluminum profiles, with an investment of around EUR 10 million. The project was launched in March 2021.
The new extrusion line was the third for Vimetco Extrusion, which will raise Vimetco Extrusion’s annual production capacity by 11,000 tons to 35,000 tons by the end of this year.
This new line is supportive of Vimetco Extrusion's target of increasing its production capacity for high-value-added aluminum products.
