RUSAL sees return of customers’ 20-30% aluminum demand

United Company RUSAL (RUSAL), the largest aluminum producer outside China, said its customers’ 20-30% usual demand has returned after a severe impact on the needs for aluminum caused by the novel coronavirus epidemic.

RUSAL the performance in the second quarter of this year was worse than that in the global financial crisis in the fourth quarter of 2008.

The firm hoped to see its customer returned with 50% aluminum demand in the June-July period.
