Rusal to cut emissions by 60% at Krasnoyarsk smelter

It was reported that United Company RUSAL (RUSAL), the second-largest aluminum producer in the world, planned to cut benzapyrene emissions by at least 60% at its Krasnoyarsk aluminum smelter (KrAZ).
RUSAL will use a new, more environmentally-friendly pitch, with less tar and sustainable raw materials for the emission reduction plan.
