Russia’s aluminum exports rise in Jan-Nov 2021

According to statistics from Russian Customs, Russia’s aluminum exports totaled around 3.19 million tons in the first 11 months of 2021, rising by 31.1%; the export value was roughly US$6.35 billion, up by 65.9%, both compared to the same period a year ago.

During the same period, Russia’s copper exports amounted to around 441,000 tons, and the export value was around US$3.64 billion, a year-on-year increase of 32.9% and a year-on-year decrease of 4.13%, respectively.

As for nickel, the exports totaled roughly 45,000 tons, down by 57.4% year on year; the export value was roughly US$789 million, sliding by 43.2% year on year.
