According to data from the Russian Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), Russia's stainless steel production reached around 83,000 tons in the first four months of this year, increasing by 27.6% year on year.

In April alone, the output was approximately 24,000 tons, growing by 49.5% compared to the same month of last year. The production in March was about 24,000, a year-on-year increase of 36.9%.

Krasny Oktyabr, a Russian stainless steel manufacturer, planned to increase output to substitute for a part of Russia's imports. The company is also looking for new export markets, such as Tukey and Middle Eastern countries.
