Russia's stainless steel output less

In June 2021, Russia produced around 18,000 tons of stainless steel, decreasing by 7.6% year on year while going up by 3.8% from the previous month.
According to the Russian Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), Russia produced approximately 100,000 tons of stainless steel in the first six months of 2021, going down by 5% from the same period a year ago.
Russia's stainless steel production amounted to roughly 204,000 tons in 2020, up by 1.3% year on year.
Besides, Russia imported roughly 42,600 tons of stainless steel in June, increasing by 6.1% month on month and soaring by 43.6% year on year. China was the main supplier during the period.
