SMM A00 aluminium ingot price adds RMB 40/t; Alumina price moves up to RMB5739/t

On Wednesday, December 4, the A00 aluminium ingot price in China has increased by RMB 40 per tonne to halt at RMB 20,360 per tonne with the spot contract price expected to be traded at a premium price of RMB 0 to RMB 40 per tonne. The average prices may stand between RMB 20,340 per tonne and RMB 20,380 per tonne.

As per the Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) data, the prices have grown in all the provinces except in Shenyang where it has remained unchanged at RMB 20,340 per tonne. The prices in Gongyi, Foshan and Wuxi have gained RMB 40 per tonne to halt at RMB 20,250 per tonne, RMB 20,350 per tonne and RMB 20,380 per tonne.

In Hangzhou and Chongqing the prices have experienced the same hike to settle at RMB 20,410 per tonne and RMB 20,340 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Tianjin and Linyi were increased by RMB 40 per tonne to peg at RMB 20,360 per tonne and RMB 20,310 per tonne.
