The Shanghai Metals Market, on October 20, experienced a linear growth in aluminium prices, with the SMM A00 aluminium ingot price discarding RMB 30 per tonne to officially close at RMB 19,080 per tonne. The average prices have circulated between RMB 19,060 per tonne and RMB 19,100 per tonne.
China’s central provinces have all seen declining rates today, with the aluminium price stooping the highest in Linyi by RMB 90 per tonne to stabilise at RMB 19,080 per tonne. In Wuxi and Tianjin, the aluminium prices lost RMB 60 per tonne to close at RMB 19,050 per tonne and RMB 19,050 per tonne. The aluminium price in Foshan negated RMB 40 per tonne to officiate at RMB 19,060 per tonne. Other than that, there has been a uniform fall of RMB 30 per tonne in Gongyi, Hangzhou, Chongqing and Shenyang. In Gongyi, the price halted at RMB 18,990 per tonne; in Hangzhou and Chongqing, it stood at RMB 19,080 per tonne, and Shenyang recorded an SMM price of RMB 19,140 per tonne.
