When the SMM aluminium price on August 1 is considered, which stood at RMB 18,580 per tonne, a Quarter-on-Quarter levitation of RMB 560 per tonne or 3.01 per cent can be seen in comparison with the price today.
China’s central provinces have experienced a surge in prices today, with the SMM aluminium ingot price in Shenyang escalating the highest by RMB 110 per tonne to stop at RMB 19,150 per tonne. In Gongyi and Hangzhou, the aluminium prices heightened by RMB 80 per tonne, settling at RMB 19,000 per tonne and RMB 19,140 per tonne, respectively. The aluminium prices in Foshan and Wuxi have both ascended by RMB 70 per tonne, officially closing at RMB 19,160 per tonne and RMB 19,130 per tonne. Lastly, in Chongqing, Tianjin and Linyi, the aluminium prices halted at RMB 19,140 per tonne, with a uniform spike of RMB 60 per tonne.
The low-carbon aluminium price in China has soared by RMB 55 per tonne, officiating at RMB 19,972 per tonne.
The CIF Index of Import Bauxite price has slipped by RMB 0.14 per tonne, closing at RMB 500.29 per tonne.
China’s average alumina spot price has gained RMB 1 per tonne to rest at RMB 3,010 per tonne, while the alumina price in Guizhou has gone up the graph by RMB 10 per tonne, closing at RMB 3,015 per tonne.
The prices of aluminium alloy (A356) and aluminium alloy (A360) have been boosted by RMB 50 per tonne to reach RMB 19,800 per tonne and RMB 20,050 per tonne, respectively.
