South Korea extends provisional AD duties on China’s stainless steel plates

On July 7, 2025, South Korea's Ministry of Economy and Finance extended the provisional anti-dumping (AD) duties on stainless steel plates originating in China from July 24, 2025, to September 4, 2025.

The products involved are stainless steel plates with a thickness of 4.75 mm or more and a width of 600 mm or more, classified under HS codes 7219.21.1010, 7219.21.1090, 7219.21.9000, 7219.22.1010, 7219.22.1090, and 7219.22.9000.

However, hot-rolled coil, black plate products produced by hot-rolling stainless steel slabs, and products with a thickness of 8 mm or less and a width of less than 2,000 mm under HS codes 7219.22.1010, 7219.22.1090, and 7219.22.9000 are excluded from the product scope subject to this temporary AD measure.

Interested parties have until July 17, 2025, to submit comments regarding this extension.
