South Korea initiates third AD sunset review on Japan’s stainless steel plates

On March 10, 2023, the Korea Trade Commission (KTC) announced a notice of launching the third anti-dumping (AD) sunset review on stainless steel plates from Japan, covering the review period from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 and the injury investigation period from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2022.
The current AD duties will continue to be effective during the review period.
The final determination must be completed within six months, and this period may be extended for up to four months in exceptional cases. The Ministry of Strategy and Finance was scheduled to make a decision on whether to extend the AD measure within 12 months.
