South Korea proposes largest-ever supplementary budget plan

It was reported that the South Korea Ministry of Economy and Finance announced to add the third extra supplementary budget worth 35.3 trillion won, which was the largest-ever budget plan.

The current total amount of South Korea’s economic revitalization program hiked to 270 trillion won, which was to reduce the impact on the economy caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.

This supplementary budget will be submitted to the National Assembly tomorrow (May 4th) to review. It was the first time in 48 years to add the extra budget plan for three times in just one year.
