South32’s alumina production rises, aluminum production flat in FY20

South32, a mining and metals company headquartered in Australia, reported that its alumina production totaling around 5.27 million tons in the fiscal year 2020, up by 4% compared to the previous fiscal year. The figure in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2020 amounted to approximately 1.36 million tons, a quarter-on-quarter increase of 6%.

Besides, in the fiscal year 2020, South32’s aluminum production was roughly 986,000 tons, keeping flat from last year.
