Southeast European crude steel output decreases in Sep

According to data from the World Steel Association (worldsteel), in September, Southeast European crude steel production decreased by 4.3% month on month to about 174,000 tons.

From January to September, the crude steel production from Southeast Europe, excluding Bosnia and Moldova, amounted to about 2.22 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 38.8%.

Among them, Serbia was the largest crude steel-producing country, with about 1.12 million tons, dropping by 34.7% year on year. The second one was Slovenia, with 392,000 tons, decreasing by 18.5% year on year, followed by Bulgaria's 371,000 tons, keeping flat year on year.
