SSAB, a Sweden-based steel company, has established a long-term partnership with the automotive parts supplier Snop to jointly promote the application of fossil-free steel and help Snop achieve its goal of reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 30% by 2030.

Pierre Mainguy, Purchasing Director at Snop, said that this cooperation is crucial to achieving the 2030 emission reduction targets and 2050 net zero emissions.

SSAB Europe Sales Director Huy Nguyen added that SSAB’s fossil emission-free steel retains high quality while significantly reducing climate impact, helping customers reduce their carbon footprint and become more competitive.

This agreement marked a new development in the collaboration between the two parties, covering various aspects of cooperation from sales to production to testing, and providing an example for sustainable development among global enterprises.
