Stainless steel alloy surcharge rises for 4 months

It was reported that the Stainless Steel Monthly Metals Index (MMI) was up by 11.3% in September since stainless steel surcharges have hiked for four consecutive months.

304 stainless steel alloy surcharges of this month rose by 6.15% compared to the previous month.

Both LME and China’s nickel prices have hiked in the past month, which increased by approximately 12% and US$17,590/ton respectively.
