According to the market, most of the stainless steelmakers in Taiwan and China decided to increase their stainless steel prices recently, which stimulated the domestic selling price to increase.

The main reason for this strong stainless steel trend was caused by the strong nickel price in the London Metal Exchange and pig iron price.

Currently, the nickel price in LME was around US$14,400/ton, which pressured the stainless steel manufacturers to continue the strong stainless steel price.
