As the short supply, the European cold-rolled stainless steel coils price rose further in the past week. According to the producers in southern Europe, the orders have been scheduled until January 2022 and now they can only offer materials for February 2022.

The supply of cold-rolled coils was in a very shortage as well as the import sources. Asia's offer is cheaper but it was still difficult to import from Asia. Due to the safeguard measures and anti-dumping taxes, there was a lack of overseas quotations from Asia.

The shortage of materials was expected to continue further during the summer off-season and prices will be remained high.
