On September 2, Metal Industries Research & Development Centre (MIRDC), under the guidance of Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, hosted the “Hydrogen Industrial Applications and International Cooperation Seminar” in Kaohsiung.
Experts from France’s CETIM (French Technical Center for Mechanical Industries) shared insights on high-pressure hydrogen materials and storage design, while Dutch company Bronkhorst presented precision valve control technology co-developed with MIRDC.
Key achievements include a 300-bar hydrogen storage system and a 0-100% hydrogen burner system, both meeting international standards.
With over 100 participants, the event highlighted Taiwan’s growing hydrogen supply chain and its efforts to accelerate industrial decarbonization and global competitiveness.
