Taiwan becomes main stainless steel buyer of Indonesia

According to the Chinese government policy, the export tax rebate from China of certain steel products has been canceled from May 1st, which almost cover all kind of stainless steel products.
Affected by that, most of the stainless steel manufacturers turn to place orders from Indonesia, including Taiwan.
Moreover, the domestic increasing price of stainless steel scrap in Indonesia further stimulated Taiwanese stainless steelmakers to place more orders than before.
