Taiwan’s alloy steel straight bar imports increase in Jul

According to statistics from Taiwan customs, in July, the import of the alloy steel straight bar was about 13,000 tons, increasing by 28.8% month on month. Among them, China was the main import source, hiking by 45% month on month to about 8,000 tons. The followings were Japan (around 3,800 tons) and South Korea (around 1,100 tons).

In terms of exports, the volume was 4,200 tons, decreasing by 18% from the previous month. Among them, Vietnam was the main Taiwan export destination, hiking by 75.8% month on month to 780 tons. The followings were the US (about 680 tons) and South Korea (about 440 tons).
