Taiwan's CRC imports dominated by China in Apr

Taiwan's cold-rolled coil (CRC) imports reached around 46,500 tons in April, a slight decrease of 5% compared to the previous month. However, imports from China surged to 43,300 tons, accounting for more than 93% of the total. This figure was the highest volume of Chinese CRC entering Taiwan since last November, increasing from 40,888 tons in March.

In contrast, imports from Japan decreased significantly by 38% month on month to around 3,200 tons, and there were no recorded imports from South Korea in April, following 2,790 tons in the previous month.
