Taiwan’s CSC & DSC’s Feb shipment surpasses planned target

The February shipment of China Steel Corporation (CSC) and Dragon Steel Corporation (DSC), two main carbon steel manufacturers in Taiwan, reached 737,000 tons and 277,000 tons, respectively, totaling 1.014 million tons, which was 37,000 tons higher than the planned target.

Among the shipment in February, the sales volume to the domestic market was 618,000 tons, and that for exporting was 396,000 tons.

According to CSC, with the increased working days and higher operating rates of downstream buyers, the shipment was expected to increase in March.
