Taiwan’s CSC greatly raises prices for Feb

China Steel Corporation (CSC), the largest carbon steel manufacturer in Taiwan, announced its new prices for February today (January 13), with an average increase of 9.5%, considering the overall competitiveness and appropriately reflecting raw material costs.

According to the price announcement, the prices of hot-rolled plates, hot-rolled rolling materials, hot-rolled general materials, hot-dip galvanized steel coil for construction, and pre-painted materials were raised by NT$2,200/ton, the price of cold-rolled general materials was hiked by NT$2,500/ton, and that of electrical steel (ES) coils was increased by NT$3,000/ton.
