Taiwan's China Steel Corporation (CSC), the largest integrated steel maker in Taiwan, announced its new prices for December. CSC kept some product prices flat, including electro-galvanized (EG) steel coil of anti-fingerprint and construction, hot-dip galvanized steel coil for construction and pre-painting, hot-dip galvanized steel coil for home appliances, computers, and other materials, and electrical steel (ES) coil. In addition, the prices of hot-rolled plate/coil, hot-rolled steel coil for rolling, and cold-rolled coil were raised by NT$300/ton.

China Steel Corporation (CSC) noted that the global steel market remains uneven, with recent volatility in exchange rates and raw material prices, although overall confidence is gradually improving. Given that recovery in the manufacturing sector and end-user demand will take time, and with customers typically reducing inventory at year-end, CSC seeks to stabilize domestic market confidence and support downstream industries in securing orders.
