Quintain Steel Co., Ltd., one of the major wire rod producers in Taiwan, decided today (December 23) to maintain the bargaining way for receiving orders of all products including wire rods for January next year. The bargaining way has been taken for four months in a row.

Quintain Steel said that the market demand kept weak in spite of the recent rising international steel prices. Coupled with a decrease in China Steel Corporation (CSC)’s first-quarter prices, Quintain Steel decided to continue this way to respond to market conditions.
