Taiwan's leading stainless steel mills will announce their new prices for May end of this week. LME nickel future and spot prices went up obviously in April. China's stainless steel market price rebounded and then dropped these days. Although the recently increased nickel prices were expected to support prices for May, the market demand still remained weak.

There are many uncertainties currently. China will also have a long holiday end of this month. As a result, the mills might have a great possibility to keep the prices flat for May.
