With the ease of investors' concerns about China's Evergrande Group's debt crisis which might impact the global economy and stabilized nickel prices, Taiwan’s new stainless steel prices for October were supported by major upstream mills’ target to keep prices stable.

The international price of nickel and ferrochrome, two important raw materials of stainless steel production, has continued rising, so the market participants expected that the new prices for October will be kept flat or raised at the end of this month.
