Taiwan's steel plate market faces a persistent struggle to raise prices, with many industry insiders pointing out the inability to stabilize and increase prices during the pre-market session last week.
Responding to the rising prices of imported steel plates, major steel plate distributors felt compelled to break the market's prolonged slump. They have announced a price hike for December, predicting an increase of at least NT$500/ton to reflect their costs.
