Walsin Lihwa, a leading stainless steel wire rod manufacturer in Taiwan, announced to maintain its new prices of stainless steel wire rods for December.
According to Walsin Lihwa, despite the US dollar index repeatedly hitting new highs this month, commodities’ prices still keep high. The overall cost of steel mills is still higher than that in November.
However, due to high transportation costs and unsatisfactory shipment conditions from the customers’ side, the price increase in upstream supplier’s stainless steel price might make customers' lose competitiveness.
Therefore, Walsin Lihwa decided to spend this difficult time with their customers, so the company remained its new prices for December.
