Tang Eng Iron Works Co., Ltd., one of Taiwan's main stainless steel manufacturers, announced today (August 30) that the company will again take an individual negotiation for its September prices, referring to peer pricing and market conditions.

Tang Eng hasn’t announced prices for five consecutive months since May.

Earlier before Tang Eng announced its price, Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), another major stainless steel producer in Taiwan, announced to hike its 304 hot-rolled and cold-rolled stainless steel coil prices for September by NT$3,500/ton, which was the second consecutive increase following the price hike of NT$1,500/ton in the previous month.
