Tata Steel Nederland announced that the force majeure would be lifted on June 12 because the company has fixed the problems related to the upgrading at its cold rolling mill. The supply will return to normal in the next few weeks and months.

The company declared force majeure in February this year due to difficulties in upgrading its cold-rolled mill No. 21. The modernization at the cold rolling mill had been started since last August, but some problems delayed the production resumption. The force majeure impacted the production of cold-rolled coils and some hot-dip galvanized steel.
