Many of Taiwan’s manufacturers, especially the screw and mechanism industry, are the suppliers of Tesla’s components. The lockdown in Shanghai city impacted the Taiwanese corporations' sales and production a lot.

Currently, Tesla plants in Shanghai recovered business by almost 70%, and it was expected that production capacity would return to 100% in June. Meanwhile, because of Tesla's resumption, the performance of Taiwan’s manufacturing was expected to be positive in the future.

Before the epidemic, Tesla’s weekly production capacity was nearly 20,000 vehicles, and daily production was over 2,000 vehicles.
