Thailand makes final AD ruling on cold-rolled steel with hot-dip aluminum-zinc alloys from China, South Korea

Thailand’s Committee on Dumping and Subsidies announced on April 30, 2021 that it has made an affirmative final anti-dumping (AD) ruling on hot-dip plated or coated with aluminum-zinc alloys of cold-rolled steel originating in China and South Korea, deciding to impose an AD of the CIF price on subject goods.
According to the ruling, within six months from the effective date of the measure (except for other rules specified by the committee), the AD duty for China and South Korea was 0%. Six months after the effective date of the measure, the AD duty for China was set at 40.77%. South Korea’s Dongkuk Steel Mill Co., Ltd. was assigned a rate of 7.00%, SeAH Coated Metal received a rate of 4.27%, and other South Korean companies were subject to 33.62%.
This measure took effect after the announcement was published, valid for five years until April 30, 2026.
