Thailand terminates safeguard measures investigation on aluminum foil imports

According to an announcement issued by Thailand’s Committee on Dumping and Subsidies on September 4, 2021, the investigation of safeguard measures on aluminum foil imports will be terminated.

The products involved are unbacked aluminum foil with a thickness less or equal to 0.2mm, classified under tariffs codes 7607.11.00.000 and 7607.19.00.090.

This announcement has taken effect the day after it the notice publication.

The initial investigation was launched on September 18, 2020, based on the application filed by the domestic industry.
