According to a report released by China’s Tianshan Aluminium, in the first half of this year, the firm’s primary aluminum output was around 559,000 tons, high-purity aluminum output was 8,200 tons, alumina output was 340,000 tons, and prebaked carbon anode output was roughly 160,000 tons.

During the period, Tianshan Aluminium’s realized revenue was around RMB 11.83 billion, and the net profit attributable to the parent company was RMB 653 million, up by nearly 48% compared to the same period a year ago.

The increase in the firm’s net profit was due to the second-quarter rebounded aluminum ingot prices, the commissioning of the first phase of Jingxi Tiangui Aluminium’s alumina project, a sharp decrease in costs of alumina, and dropped prices of raw materials in the first half of the year.
