Turkish crude steel production declines in Jun

According to the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD), in June of this year, Turkish crude steel production was 2.8 million tons, down by 3.8% year on year, and steel imports were 1.4 million tons, increasing by nearly 60% year on year.

In June, Turkish steel exports increased by 40.3% year on year to 2 million.

In the first half of this year, Turkish total output of crude steel was 16.3 million tons, dropping by 4.1% compared to the same period a year ago, and the export volume of steel was 9.9 million tons, sliding by 11.3% year on year.
