According to the data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey exported around 622,000 tons of welded steel pipes from January to May, dropping by 5% compared to the same period a year ago.

Turkish steel pipe exports were still restricted by the EU’s import quota and the COVID-19 epidemic; however, the EU was still one of the main export destinations for Turkish welded steel pipes.

Among the exports in the first five months of this year, the top three destinations of Turkish welded steel pipes included Romania (around 88,000 tons), Israel (around 60,000 tons), and Iraq (around 55,500 tons).
