Europe’s Transmission System Operators (TSOs) announced their decision on February 14, 2023, agreeing to increase the electricity supply to 700 MW for Ukraine/Moldova, and the supply will be at all hours.
Due to the synchronization of Ukrainian and European energy systems, there is an opportunity for Ukraine to have increased electricity imports.
The current trade capacity of electricity is set at 400 MW from Ukraine/Moldova to other European regions and 700 MW in the other direction. The TSOs will evaluate whether to further raise the trading capacity limits in the next weeks and months.
